Jim High
PSF Debut: Unlocking Shakespeare
Jim's first taste of professional performance was as a stand up comedian on the London circuit and around the UK. After working in a TV production (Tiger Aspect, BBC) he travelled around Europe and Africa before moving to Prague and discovering the Meisner acting technique with the Prague Playhouse. Since then he's performed in numerous short films as everything - from a street con artist to a painter with a crisis of conscience. He's also performed in commercials, voice over and dubbing work, and several theatre productions, most notably in the lead of the Prague Playhouse's Prague Fringe 2008 production of The Sacred Sow. Jim has also written and directed several short films of his own. He will next be appearing as James Lingk in the Prague Playhouse's production of Glengarry Glen Ross at Divadlo Inspirace in January and February of 2009.
